Trips and tours away from School provide an opportunity for the children to extend their learning and experiences.

Off-site educational visits play a significant part in the development of children and young people. School trips enhance and bring to life the teaching of the National Curriculum through first-hand experience of buildings, artefacts, wildlife, contrasting locations and environments which may not be able to replicated in the classroom. Such experiences enrich the understanding of, empathy with and enjoyment of the curriculum. The cost of these activities is largely met by parents.

Some of the educational visits and trips the children have been on include:

  • Manchester Science Museum
  • Blackpool Sea Life Centre
  • Blackpool Zoo
  • Eureka! The National Children's Museum
  • Wellybobs Farm
  • Canoeing
  • and many more..
